Recently, Advantech announced the launch of the AIR-020 series of artificial intelligence inference system, which is an ultra-compact edge intelligent machine equipped with NVIDIA Jetson series core Modules and driven by an edge artificial intelligence system. The AIR-020 series has a small size of only 139 x 110 x 44.5 mm, and provides low-power calculations through the powerful AI inference functions of NVIDIA Jetson Nano, TX2 NX and Xavier NX SoM. AIR-020 series products are very suitable for edge AI applications in traffic monitoring, defect detection, AGV/AMR, visual computing, medical imaging and other industries.

AIR-020X is equipped with NVIDIA Xavier NX SoM, AIR-020T is equipped with Jetson TX2 NX, and AIR-020N is equipped with Jetson Nano to meet diverse AI applications and performance requirements. These three products provide an ultra-compact design with a size of only 139 x 110 x 44.5 mm, making it easy to integrate into existing applications. AIR-020X supports up to 21 TOPS computing power, and high-resolution decoding and imaging. AIR-020T and AIR-020N support 1.33/0.5 TFLOPS. The AIR-020 series supports wide-voltage 12-24V DC input, and can work normally from -10°C to 55°C. The above series of products have the advantages of anti-vibration and moisture resistance.
Rich and diverse I/O and strong connectivity, support camera, wireless and peripheral integration
Artificial intelligence projects are used in a variety of applications; therefore, the requirements for peripheral connections vary. The AIR-020 series is equipped with a variety of I/O ports, including 2 x USB 3.2 Type A, USB 3.2 Type C, 1 or 2 x GbE, 1 or 2 x RS-232/422/485, 8-bit DIO and CANBus for data acquisition and communication. The ultra-compact AI BOX is pre-installed with 4GB/8GB LPDDR4 and 16GB eMMC 5.1. In addition, the AIR-020 series provides a 128GB M.2 interface for expanding data storage used as AI.
Use Ubuntu, Advantech Edge AI Suite and NVIDIA JetPack to quickly deploy AI
The AIR-020 series is bundled with the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS operating system environment, Advantech Edge AI kit and JetPack SDK 4.5.1. Developers can easily develop AI models and deploy their applications. In terms of data security, AIR-020 adopts the TPM 2.0 trusted platform module and secure boot, providing a better edge system security platform.
