Amphenol ICC extends franchise distribution agreement with Future Electronics to EMEA region

Future Electronics has announced that connector manufacturer Amphenol ICC has appointed it as an authorised distributor covering the whole of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

The agreement extends the existing relationship between the two companies: Future Electronics already distributes Amphenol ICC’s entire product range in North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

Future Electronics’ European customers will now gain access to pre-sales advice, technical support, sales, and supply chain service for all Amphenol ICC products. These products include:

• Minitek Pwr connector system for board-to-board and wire-to-board connections
• Zhaga-compliant connectors for interior lighting applications
• Single-pair Ethernet IP20 connectors and ix Industrial™ IP20 connectors for industrial networking applications

Jose Lok, Senior Director of Marketing (EMEA) at Future Electronics, said, ‘The addition of Amphenol ICC to Future Electronics’ EMEA line card reinforces our already strong connector product offering, particularly in specialist application areas such as lighting and industrial Ethernet.’

The agreement to appoint Future Electronics as an authorised distributor for Amphenol ICC in the EMEA region is effective immediately and is backed by supplies of available-to-buy parts for high-demand items at the EMEA Distribution Centre in Leipzig.
