The new Delta Electronics MEU-650A24T supplies 24V in a very small 4″ x 6″ form factor, offering up to 650W with forced air cooling or 450W when convection cooled. This 95.5% efficiency power supply is ideal for BF type medical equipment and general IT equipment. The device is available now from Luso Electronics.
The device is furnished with a 12V/0.6A fan output and 5V/2A standby output. High efficiencies of up to 95.5% and a wide operating temperature range of -20C-70C mean that the MEU-650A24T is ideal for multiple applications such as ultrasound, anaesthesia and other medical equipment. Featuring 2xMOPP Isolation, these units are provided with onboard current sharing technology allowing two units to be paralleled together to boost the power supplied.
This family is also ideal for many industrial applications with major approvals, including IEC/EN/CSA 60601-1 (Medical), IEC 60950-1, and IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 (ITE), including IEC/EN 60335-1 and IEC 61558-1 (Household appliances). The MEU-650A24T is also certified with EMC standards EN 55011 for industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio-frequency equipment, and EN 55032 for Information Technology Equipment radio-frequency equipment; as well as full compliance with RoHS Directive for environmental protection.
