The Mini-Fit connectors from Molex offer high flexibility and are outstanding for usage even with difficult designs. These connectors are now available from Rutronik and are mutually and downwardly compatible in their respective category. With options, including dummy plugs or contact positioning fuses, this family of connectors provides a connector system for use in nearly every industry area, including automotive consumer devices, medical and industrial automation, as well as telecommunications, computing, and consumer devices. They are offered in reel, bag, or tray packaging in board-to-board, wire-to-board, and wire-to-wire configurations.
The connectors are intended for operating temperatures from -40C up to +125C. All connectors in the series support high currents. For example, Mini-Fit Stigma and Mini-Fit Plus can handle up to 11.5A and Mini-Fit Versa Color up to 13A. All series components function at a rated power of up to 600VAC/DC, have a dielectric resistance of 2200V (AC), an insulation resistance of 1000MOhm, and are RoHS compliant.
The Mini-Fit BMI are blind mating interfaced, allowing 2.54mm misalignment in X and Y axes for all configurations. The Mini-Fit Max is end-to-end stackable, with four independent contact points and a tangless terminal. Mini-Fit Sigma offers sturdy, secure housing, seal cap support, keying, and polarisation. Mini-Fit Plus HCS provides crimp terminals of proprietary high current alloy, sockets, and plugs suitable for Mini-Fit and Mini-Fit Plus crimp contacts, patented dimple design on contacts. Mini-Fit TPA2 has TPA with a secondary locking feature. The Mini-Fit Versa Color offers options for panel mounting and vertical headers, five colour variants.
