Dyson has sales of £6.5bn

Update: August 11, 2023

EBITDA fell from £1.5 billion to £1.3 billion.

Dyson recruited more than 1000 new engineers and scientists in 2022. 2022 capex was £463 million – up from £284 million in 2021.

Sir James Dyson warned that WFH was damaging productivity, and has written a letter to the Treasury saying that the 6% rise in corporation tax will leed to less business investment and a weaker economy.

The 3,500 people employed in the UK by Dyson “will reduce as a result of this measure”, he said in the letter.
