Expanded range of coaxial connectors with an ultra-miniature RF coaxial connector

Update: July 28, 2021

Würth Elektronik’s WR-UMRF (Ultra-Miniature RF Coaxial Connector) is a new, extremely compact high-frequency coaxial connector. The plug snaps into the jack to create a stable right-angled cable-to-board connection with a height of only 2.5mm. This cost-effective connection technology is of benefit for connecting antennas to radio modules. The frequency range reaches up to 6GHz at 50-Ohms.

With its low height of 2.5mm, the connector is a slim connection solution and also only needs a footprint of just 3.1mm x 3mm for PCB mounting. In terms of technical specifications, the connector remains compatible with many comparable products on the market.

The company also provides pre-assembled cables with various combinations of UMRF, SMA or RP-SMA—optionally with protection class IP67. The available cable diameters are 1.13mm, 1.32mm and 1.37mm.

The connector and jack are available from stock without a minimum order quantity.
