Global distribution agreement for a wide range of emitters and photodiodes

Update: July 15, 2021

Mouser has agreed on a global distribution deal with Marktech Optoelectronics. According to the agreement, it will provide customers with a range of emitters and photodiodes for applications, including night vision, fibre optics, safety equipment, and currency validation.

The company’s shortwave infrared (SWIR) emitters are an excellent solution for material and chemical analysis, providing high-speed light emission in ranges not easily viewed by standard detectors. The SWIR emitters are intended for high-power applications and offer operating currents ranging from 20mA to 350mA. Possessing a wide beam angle and high reliability, these emitters include through-hole and surface mount packages with wavelengths from 1020nm to 1720nm.

The near-IR emitters provide outstanding optical/mechanical axis alignment, making them a suitable choice for high-precision applications, including bar code readers, fibre optics, and optical switches and sensors. The near-infrared emitters feature a peak emission wavelength range of 720nm to 950nm, and they are frequently used in the agriculture, banking, medical, security, and communications industries.

Their high-power SMD UV emitters combine low thermal resistant material with state-of-the-art SMD design to provide super high power output. The emitters are excellent for UV curing, disinfection, and chemical and biological analysis, as well as printing, coating, and counterfeit detection. The high-power SMD UV emitters provide a peak emission wavelength range of 275nm to 385nm.
