The Littelfuse HC HEV fuse, available now from TTI Europe, is intended for the protection of high-current/high-voltage circuits in electric and hybrid electric vehicles utilising an industry-standard footprint. The fuse offers time-delay characteristics with ‘Diffusion Pill Technology’.
The device offers interrupting rating of 16kA @ 500VDC, current ratings 60–125A, M6 bolt-down terminals, and a 20mm diameter body. The fuse is targeted at hybrid electric vehicles and other battery electric vehicles.
