TE Connectivity has launched the IHVA high-voltage DC contactor series, available now from TTI Europe, created for control in new energy applications.
The series is a non-gas filled contactor making it reliable and safe with less worry about the environment. These contactors are non-polarised and provide an optional auxiliary contact that can be employed to monitor the power/main contact.
The series offers high insulation distance and high dielectric strength. The 600A inrush current capability protects the circuit in an abnormal situation.
