Update: August 6, 2023

The EAC-2000 series from Vecow is intended for artificial intelligence vision projects as well as industrial applications including traffic vision, surveillance, optical inspection, smart factory, AMR and AGV.

The module consumes 15W  and includes a 21Top/s 384 core Volta GPU, with 48 Tensor cores, and a hexa-core Carmel Arm V8.2 64bit CPU with 6Mbyte of L2 cache.

It can decode up to four 4K30 HEVC video streams and run neural networks in parallel.

The Jetson Xavier NX ships with 8Gbyte LPDDR4x and 16Gbyte of eMMC storage.

EAC-2000 includes an HDMI display port, two Gigabit power-over-Ethernet ports ((PoE+, 25W/port), dual Gigabit Ethernet, four USB3.1 ports and two serial ports.

For wireless, there is an M.2 E-key slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and an M.2 3042/3052 B-key slot that can support up to 5G cellular communications with a SIM card and six antenna breakouts.

For more storage, there is an M.2 2280 M-key, plus an external SD card slot.

For vehicle use, the EAC-2100 expands on the EAC-2000’s feature, adding CANbus support, four Fakra-Z connections for GMSL automotive cameras and two Gigabit PoE+ ports.

Both models come in a wall-mountable metal chassis with EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 certification for EMC, and operation over -20 to +70° and 9 to 50Vdc.

Impulse will configure memory, storage, peripheral cards and operating system in either computer to customer specifications at its Staffordshire UK-based engineering facility.
