According to the agreement, Mouser will offer  Soracom’s  range of IoT connectivity solutions, including starter kits, USB cellular modems, and eSIMs.

“IoT begins with hardware,” Said Kenta Yasukawa, Soracom Co-Founder and CTO. “Soracom is honored to join forces with Mouser to help equip the next wave of builders in IoT. By using Soracom’s smart connectivity platform to connect Mouser’s hardware to the cloud, this partnership will provide a fast track to a truly connected world.”

“Soracom’s highly integrated solutions provide the tools that design engineers need to quickly create robust prototypes and speed time-to-market for embedded IoT devices,” says Mouser vp Andy Kerr.

The IoT starter kit from Soracom includes everything necessary to connect devices via cellular connectivity quickly. The starter kit is powered by Raspberry Pi Zero WH.

It features an ultrasonic range finder, allowing designers to build devices with cloud connectivity and real-time sensor data visualization.

The IoT starter kit also features a 16 Gbyte Class 10 SD card and Micro-SD card reader, a Soracom Air IoT SIM card, a perma-proto breadboard with color-coded wires, an LED, and a 15 Ω Resistor.

The LTE-M button is a battery-powered IoT button with cloud-native connectivity, offering reliable performance for applications such as facility management, asset monitoring, industrial maintenance, and elderly care monitoring.

The LTE-M button features three click types to configure the trigger messages from a device and supports a minimum of 2,000 clicks with replaceable LR6/AA batteries.

The global multi-carrier commercial and industrial eSIMs are designed to provide cellular cloud connectivity at scale, supporting the mass production of commercial and industrial solutions.

Designed for use in harsh environments, the eSIMs feature data retention of up to 15 years and an operating temperature range of ‑40°C to +105°C. The eSIMs offer easy network control and management with the Soracom Console and API and direct integration with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

The Onyx LTE USB cellular modem boasts a Quectel®EG25-G LTE Cat. 4 module, delivering global 4G/LTE, 3G, and 2G cellular connectivity for fixed and mobile applications.

The Onyx device is optimized for IoT and M2M applications and can be easily installed on various devices via a USB port. The Onyx cellular modem supports built-in application protocols, including TCP, UDP, PPP, FTP, HTTP and MQTT, enabling seamless integration into a variety of system architectures and cloud services.
