ShowMeCables has announced its new line of fibre optic transceivers created to satisfy the needs of telecom service providers, the data communications industry and IT departments.
These new fibre optic transceivers are MSA-compliant and compatible with most switch and router platforms. They represent a broad selection of form factors, distances supported and data rates. Form factors provided are GBIC, SFP, SFP+ and XFP. Distance options range from 220m to 120km, and three transmitter wavelengths are available – 850nm, 1310nm and 1550nm. Operating data rates cover 100Mbps to 10Gbps.
Other options incorporate single-mode or multimode optics and latching LC or non-latching SC connectors. Most of these new transceivers were created to resist extreme temperatures encountered in many industrial applications.
