Review display Systems has introduced the BOXER-6646-ADP, its latest addition to its fanless embedded Box PC products range from AAEON.
Providing a compact form factor, the device is an extremely versatile, all-purpose computing solution. Powered by 12th Generation Intel Core processors with dual-channel DDR5 support and supplied with industry-leading features, including a DIO port, multiple 2.5GbE LAN, and four display ports, the device can support heavy processing workloads and delivers a versatile industrial computing solution.
The power-efficient device profits from a hybrid CPU architecture of up to 12 cores and 16 threads, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, and DDR5 support. With a 28W CPU alongside Intel Gaussian and Neural Accelerator technology, the device can handle high-speed industrial computing while providing low power consumption.
The device provides a compact mechanical form factor with multiple 2.5GbE LAN ports, three 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 slots, and a quadruple display interface featuring HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.4. With a wealth of high-speed connectivity, it has the potential as a durable autonomous mobile robot solution.
The chassis has an enhanced expansion capability and a removable 2.5” SATA drive bay for extra storage on top of the 64GB system memory offered via the device’s DDR5 support. A bottom-side service window is provided for expansion key access, allowing easy integration of 5G, Wi-Fi, and NVMe modules through the device’s M.2 3052, M.2 2230, and M.2 2280 ports.
