Ideal for automotive applications, the C&K SAMXD, available now from TTI Europe, offers multiple options for actuator position and shape. This navigation switch directly drives the electric motors, removing the requirement for relays, providing for space and cost savings.
Contributing expertise obtained from the previously released SAM Series, the dust protection and end stop addition strengthens this product offering compared to competitors. The switches provide two actuation forces (5.3N and 6N) and two actuator positions, left and middle. In addition to multiple actuator positions, there are also two actuator shapes, square and round. The switches are multi-directional of two and four ways.
The devices are ideal for seat adjustment modules for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, and industrial joystick applications.
