SNA capacitors are rated for a life of 5,000 hours.
Voltage ratings are 250, 420 or 450Vdc, capacitance is between 82 and 1,500µF (±20%), and there are 24 case sizes spanning 22mm diameter x 25mm long to 35∅ x 50mm.
As well as the standard two-pin types, for extra stability there is are four pin options.
SNL capacitors are rated for a life of 3,000 hours at 105°C.
There is a wider range of voltage ratings: 160, 200, 250, 350, 400, 450, 500 or 550Vdc, and capacitance spans 68µF to 2,200µF (±20%). 36 case sizes are used, between 22∅ x 20mm to 35∅ x 60mm.
“Both series are well suited for use in a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and high-reliability applications and feature insulated cases with polarity markings that enable easy snap-in installation, as well as safety vents which provide overload protection,” said Kyocera research engineer Mack Cartagena.
