March 12, 2024 — According to a report from the Korean Customs Service, South Korea’s exports in the first 10 days of March 2024 decreased by 13.4% year-on-year to US$13.54 billion, of which semiconductor exports increased by 21.7% year-on-year.
In addition, the Korean industry said that equipment investment increased by 4.1% year-on-year in January this year. Among them, the special-purpose machinery index, which is closely related to semiconductor investment, rose sharply year-on-year, from -11.3% in the same period last year to 12.7%.
