Toshiba electronic Devices & Storage Corporation Publishes English Edition of Environmental Report 2020
TOKYO—Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation today released the English edition of Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation Environmental Report 2020. Published annually, the report provides stakeholders and interested parties with detailed information on the company’s environmental management, policies and practices.
The coverage of the 2020 report includes a Top Management Commitment by the company’s president, Hiroyuki Sato, and reports on initiatives to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to realize Toshiba Group’s medium-term environmental targets under The Sixth Environmental Action Plan.
The report also covers efforts to reduce the environmental impacts of products and manufacturing; stakeholder engagement; environmental activities rooted in local communities, among them environmental education for elementary school students and biodiversity conservation; and projects that won the Excellence Award in the “2019 Excellent Enterprise Awards for Environmental Human Resources Development,” sponsored by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment and the Environmental Consortium for Leadership Development.
