Measuring 188 x 188 x 87mm (plus connectors and flanges), the enclosure is rated IP67/IP69K and the deign is ruggedised to MIL-STD-810G 514.6C-2 vibration and 15G shock (half-sine, 11ms, three shocks/axis).
There is a choice of Intel Apollo Lake Atom processors: E3900, x7-E3950, x5-E3940 or x5-E3930, backed by 2, 4 or 8Gbyte of soldered DDR3L plus a SODIMM up to 8Gbyte. There is optional support for EMMC up to 8, 16, 32 or 64Gbyte.
All the CPUs have embedded graphics, and the computer’s HDMI output can drive displays up to 3,840 x 2,160 (30Hz) in at least one version.
There are two Gbit LAN ports and two USB 3.0 ports, then a Mini PCIe expansion slot for a 4G LTE module, a Mini PCIe for CANbus and an M.2 2230 (USB2.0/PCIe) for a WiFi module – with access to external antennas.
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64bit is supported.
