Universal touch push-button ideal for residential and industrial applications

Update: April 7, 2021

Elsner Elektronik’s Nunio KNX M-T can be a single, double, triple or quadruple push-button making it excellent for changing demands such as change of tenants in residential or commercial properties, hotel rooms, conference venues, and more.

The KNX push-button is switch-sized, and its monochrome touch display and glass frame create a single unit. When the display is touched, the lighting turns on and also radiates into the frame. Exciting light reflections are made in the glass and on the wall.

The flexibility of the push-button extends from the programming options in the KNX application. Here, users can set how many touch surfaces are visible and what function they offer, such as switching, dimming, moving a blind, sending a value or calling up a scene. Each surface can be labelled with an icon and text by the bus. Changing text can indicate, for example, whether a luminaire is switched on or off. This makes it simple for users to find their way around. Another function is called up by touching with the palm or swiping. This surface function is normally assigned the main function for the respective room, such as light or a scene.

The lighting of the display is switched to two levels: Operating and basic lighting. Brightness and timing are set independently for both. Lastly, the lighting can also be turned off completely. In standby, the push-button, therefore, needs very little energy. Nonetheless, the fields can still be identified and the device remains ready for the next input.
