To be known as CMM-3424DT-26165-TR, the surface-mount device measures 4 x 3 x 1 mm and is compatible with reflow soldering.
Microphone-wise, the acoustic port is on top and it is omnidirectional, according to CUI, with tightly-controlled sensitivity (-26dB ±1dB) and a signal-to-noise ratio of 65dBA. Range is 100 to 10,000Hz and the output is digital PDM.
Operation is over -40 to 100°C and 1.6 to 3.6V, and it typically consumes 600μA in standard mode (1 – 4.8MHz clock) and 250μA in low-power mode (350 – 800kHz) (Max figures are 700 and 300μA respectively at 3.6V), plus there is a 50μA stand-by mode if it is clocked at under 250kHz.
PSSR (power supply rejection ratio) is 65dB for a 200mVp-p 1kHz sine wave and 80dB for a 100mVp-p 217Hz square wave.
