Wi-Fi and BLE modules offer convenient way to add functionality to applications

Update: July 28, 2021

Dialog Semiconductor DA16600 Wi-Fi + BLE Modules offer a convenient way to add low-power Wi-Fi and low-power BLE functionality to applications. The modules are based on the VirtualZero DA16200 Wi-Fi SoC and the SmartBond TINY DA14531 BLE SoC. Together they provide long battery life and low power consumption in a useful form factor. As a single integrated system, functions such as Wi-Fi/BLE coexistence and provisioning Wi-Fi via the BLE connection come standard.

The modules are complete with all needed components and are regulatory certified by the FCC, IC, CE, and other regulatory bodies. These compact 14.2mm x 24.6mm x 3mm modules are provided with an onboard chip antenna or a connector for an external antenna.

Typical applications include thermostats, door locks, security cameras, video doorbells, temperature sensors, smoke detectors, other wireless sensors, garage door openers, pet trackers, asset trackers, home automation, commercial, industrial, and residential.
