SFI100A wideband IF vector signal generator

EuMW: R&S W and D-band IF vector signal generator and thermal power sensor

The SFI100A wideband IF vector signal generator has been developed for early 6G research, high capacity wireless backhaul, fixed wireless access and automotive radar.

With an RF modulation bandwidth up to 10GHz, it is intended to work with the company’s FExxxST up-conversion front-end (see below) to span a range of frequencies.

As well as the IF interface, it has analogue IQ outputs for wideband baseband signal generation.

NRP170TWG(N) thermal power sensor

NRP170TWG is a thermal RF power sensors working from 110 to 170GHz (D-band), communicating via a USB connection. A variant, NRP170TWGN , adds a LAN interface to the USB port.

Dynamic range is -35 to +20dBm.

FE110ST/SR TX/RX frontends

FE110ST Tx front-end and FE110SR Rx front-end are intended to extend the frequency range signal sources such as the company’s SFI100A wideband IF vector signal generator (see above), or its SMW200A vector signal generator, to the W band (75 to 110GHz).

They are on-show in Munich this week at EuMW.

“At EuMW, Rohde & Schwarz will show the SFI100A combined with the FSW50 signal and spectrum analyser and FE170ST/SR Tx/Rx front-ends to up-convert and down-convert signals, and the new R&S NRP170TWG thermal power sensor for the D band. Together, the instruments are a complete and streamlined wideband D band communication testing solution,” said R&S.
