Industrial camera includes Jetson Xavier NX for on-board AI

Called Neon-2000-JNX “the camera’s high performance, small form factor and ease of development open the door for AI vision solutions in manufacturing, logistics, retail, service, agriculture, smart city, healthcare and life sciences, and other edge applications,” claimed Adlink. “The camera is an all-in-one solution, eliminating the traditional need for complex integration of the image sensor module, cables, and AI box PC.”

There are six variants, varying in sensor size from 1.2 to 8Mpixel, some with rollong shutters and some with global shutters.

They come pre-installed with Adlink’s edge vision analytics software, EVA SDK (edge vision analytics software development kit) to assist with proof-of-concept creation and product development.

Ubuntu, Jetpack and Basler pylon are supported – “Supported software versions will be updated as released by Nvidia,” said Adlink.

The cameras are ~123 x 77 x 67mm and weigh 700g. Power needs are 12 – 24Vdc through a jack or USB Type C at 15Vdc.

They come with :

  • 1.8m USB Type-C cable with screw lock
  • USB Type-C hub-adapter
  • 2m DB-15 to DB-37 I/O extension cable
  • I/O extension board (DIN-37D-01)
  • 12V ac-dc adapter
  • focal length 8mm aperture f1.4 C-mount lens

“The Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX provides more than 10x the performance of its widely adopted predecessor, Jetson TX2,” said Adlink.
