There are four ASA5618 motors, giving options on 140 or 230Nm torgue (which corresponds to 88 or 109.5mm length) and either a incremental (4,096 CPR / 16,384 PPR) or multi-turn (16bit multi-turn, 17bit single-turn) encoder.
Current per winding is 4.2A and ingress protection is to IP65.
They are “ideal for axis drives of machine tools or robot-assisted applications in surgery”, according to the company, which added: “Larger quantities can be supplied with an integrated holding brake.”
