The PCB pins are all press-fit, while the pogo pins are through-hole, surface-mount or wire-mount.

“The CPG family of pogo and PCB pins offers gold plated contacts for high reliability as well as a variety of pin sizes and configurations to meet an array of interconnect needs,” according to the company.
Initial operating force of the pogo pins is between 10 and 125g, increasing to 30 to 165g mid-travel.
Recommended working heights span 2.5 to 14.9mm, and some are rated for 10,000 cycles.
PCB pins operate across -20 to 85°C and are made from holes from 1.2 up to 2.4mm.
