The Molex 300mm off-the-shelf MX150 cable assembly, available now from RS Components, delivers a 22A current rating. It eradicates the necessity for individual cable seals, which provides reduced package size and decreased cost. It has a grommet cap that protects the mat seal and assures proper alignment of the terminals.
A CPA option is available to make sure connectors have been fully mated and prevents accidental disconnection. The product features a one-piece 3.5mm-pitch housing to eliminate unnecessary and costly assembly operations in a compact package.
The assembly provides a temperature class 4 (-40C to +125C) and 22A current rating to deliver superior performance. V0 versions are available (UL1977 certified). It also conforms to USCAR-2/USCAR-21/GMW3191 for use in on-engine, high-vibration, under-hood and under-chassis environments at temperature class 4.
